Turkish Quake Death Toll Is Estimated 500-1000 People

Massive earthquake that shook northeastern Turkey causing casualties. Kandilli Observatory Earthquake estimated 500-1000 people were killed by the quake.

Earthquake of 6.6 magnitude that hit the eastern province of Van. U.S. Geological Survey said the quake measuring 7.6 magnitude and occurred at a depth of 94.5 km.
